Solbrent is a 2-day outdoor BASS RAVE festival that was first held in August 2023. In 2024, 550 people came to experience 20 different artists and genres within electronic music. We had amazing sound and lighting and a unique experience with good feedback from our visitors that made us want to do this again!

Solbrent 2025 will also be held this year in Bendiksbukta on Odderøya, Kristiansand and we want to make it even better for the audience to visit the festival. We will set up enough tents and benches, and create a first-class party for everyone who loves rave and electronic music festivals! This time there will also be Smashed-burger serving from Buns N Roses! During the day, several activities will also be planned for the audience to make it enjoyable to be present to catch the early part of the program.

Friday opens at 5pm and Saturday at 12pm.

The Bass Rave concept

The program starts with artists within slow-paced electronic genres. Then the energy level and the pace build throughout the evening. We strive to create a great atmosphere and unique experience, and look forward to giving you a wonderful atmosphere at the festival!

The Bass Rave concept started back in 2021 when the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted. The goal was to create more events with underground electronic music in Kristiansand. We then organized "Bass and Time" with subsequent "Bass Rave" events. In 2024, we have organized 3 "Bass Rave" indoors, where one of the concepts is called "Frostbitt". Solbrent 2024 exceeded all expectations, and was a huge success. Then Frostbitt was organized again in 2025 in the premises of a closed nightclub, the same premises where it all started in 2021 at Bass And Time. Then we ran a new Bass Rave in April this year, and now we are getting ready to hold the best Solbrent Festival ever!
